Microsoft to Merge All Versions of Windows for Single OS on All Devices

(DNA India) – Microsoft’s CEO announced on Tuesday that all versions of Windows will merge into one operating system for all devices.

CEO Satya Nadella said that the company will streamline the next version of Windows from three operating systems into one single converged operating system for screens of all sizes.

He added that they will unify the stores, commerce and developer platforms to drive a more coherent user experience and a broader developer opportunity, CNET reported.

Nadella expanded on this theme when responding to an analyst’s question.
