The Favor of God Continues…

Forward Thinkers, my plans were to bring this series to an end on last Sunday but, the Spirit of the Lord would not release me. The FOG “Favor of God” continues… It’s no secret, I’m being used by God to impact our local school district and community but this week I received a praise report from a lady in the Milwaukee Public Schools. They were experiencing some difficulties in the atmosphere but after they started following the FOG “Favor of God” series on my YouTube channel and applying the principles, they stated the entire situation turned in their favor.

Forward Thinkers, I pray you’ve also experienced the FOG “Favor of God” during this series and you now have a testimony you can share with others to encourage them.

Forward Thinkers, God has prepared his FAVOR for us and this season the “Favor of God” on our lives will blow the minds of all around us. The favor of God is going to change your public status and reputation.

Forward Thinkers, today we will examine the purpose and usage of a water hose to illustrate the flow of God’s favor in our lives. We will never be able to maximize anything until we know the true purpose and function of a thing. Forward Thinkers, we have not maximized the favor of God because we have not fully understood the true purpose and function of God’s favor.

Forward Thinkers, the true purpose and function of a water hose is to be an instrument in which water flows through. The water hose is not the water source but, only an instrument used to distribute the water flow to the targeted area.

Forward Thinkers, God will use a favor hose to flow the FOG “Favor of God” into your life but again the favor hose like the water hose is only a tool not the source.

Forward Thinkers, we have placed too much faith and focus on the water hose; “Misplaced faith will ultimately cause a faith failure”.

Psalm 20:7 New International Version (NIV)

7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.

Forward Thinkers, misplaced focus and faith produces worry, stress, fear, addictive behavior, and nervous breakdowns. Once you realize the instrument you’re depending on is not able to support you, there will be a major shift in your thinking.

Forward Thinkers, I believe a major problem is our sight line. We see the hose, so we focus on the hose. The job, the paycheck, the degree, the relationship, the talent, and the intelligence are all hoses but remember they are never the source.

2 Corinthians 5:7 New International Version (NIV)

7 For we live by faith, not by sight.

Forward Thinkers, we must live and walk by faith not by sight. God who we cannot see uses instruments we can see as favor hoses to get the Favor in our lives.

Forward Thinkers, the water hose aka “favor hose” has two ends, a connecting end and an outpouring end. Forward Thinkers, I dare you to declare the FOG “Favor of God” is getting ready to pour out in my life.

Let’s look at the connecting end; it is hooked up to an on/off value. No matter how much water is available the value must be turned on in order for the flow to be released. This season we can’t afford to be in the “off” position.

John 15:5 New International Version (NIV)

5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

Forward Thinkers, the true source is Jesus. We must be connected to Jesus to assure the favor of God is flowing in our lives.

John 4:14 New International Version (NIV)

14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.

Forward Thinkers, don’t forget to turn the value on. Faith, praise, prayer, giving, loving, and forgiveness are all tools that turn Jesus on. Many go to the grave full of potential because they never turned on the release value connecting to the favor of God.

Forward Thinkers, the other end is the outpouring end. Warning: Forward Thinkers, don’t let your hose get clogged up with trash. We must also check our hose for leaks and repair quickly.

Wide Release

Forward Thinkers the wide release connection allows us to walk under the favor of God as if we are walking under an open heaven. Under the wide release connection, we experience congregational favor, national favor, corporate favor, and family favor.

Target Pressure Release

Forward Thinkers, the target pressure release connection causes favor to come out with force. Under the target pressure release connection favor has a direct target and you become the target.
