(Chicago Tribune) – The death of comedic legend and actor Robin Williams Monday has shocked colleagues and fans around the world.

Williams was found dead Monday from an apparent suicide at his home in Northern California. He was 63.

News of his passing prompted Hollywood’s elite to express their sadness. Sorrow and shock has poured out from family and friends.

Fans of the actor flocked to his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and a tribute outside the gate of his home grew with flowers left by well-wishers.

Williams’ fans lamented his passing, saying that he will be missed as a brilliant comedian, as well as dramatic actor, and that they had grown up watching him.
