Mo’ne Davis Asked School to Reinstate Baseball Player Dismissed from Team for Profane Tweet

(USA Today)—Mo’ne Davis said she sent a letter to Bloomsburg University asking them to reinstate a baseball player kicked off the team for a profane tweet about the young Little League star.

“Everyone makes mistakes and I know — he would if it was me — I know I would want to take that back,” she said on SportsCenter Monday morning.

Joey Casselberry, a first baseman, was dismissed from the team on Saturday after a tweet about the announcement that the Disney Channel is making a movie about Davis, the first girl to pitch a shutout in a LLWS game.
