(Bidness Etc.) – Samsung Elect Ltd. has officially announced that the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active will be carried exclusively by AT&T, the second largest wireless carrier in the US. Galaxy S6 Active will be available at AT&T Inc. retail stores as well as the carrier’s official website starting June 12.
The electronics and mobile company has not yet disclosed the pricing details for the device, but details regarding AT&T’s equipment installment plans have been specified. AT&T Next offers the Galaxy S6 Active for zero down payment, while customers subscribed to the Next 12 plan may get the device by paying 20 monthly payments of $34.75. Alternatively, the Next 18 plan entails 24 monthly installments of $28.96, while the Next 24 plan entails 30 monthly installments of $23.17.
The new Galaxy handset will also be available for purchase at the impending Reebok Spartan Race events at on-site stores. However, the company has not yet mentioned any plans to launch the Galaxy S6 Active in any country other than the US.
