Curry vs. LeBron: Who Wins the Battle on Facebook?
(Wall Street Journal) – The 2015 NBA Finals between the Cavaliers and Warriors is the culmination of many intricately woven plotlines from the regular season—all of which have to do with two players. LeBron James and Stephen Curry.
It’s safe to assume that a large chunk of the viewing public will tune in to Game 1 Thursday night because of these two men. But which player is America more obsessed with? According to data from Facebook, Curry still has some work to do if he wants to break James’s stranglehold on the national spotlight.
The social-networking site surveyed all its users in the 50 states to see which player was talked about more frequently since the playoffs began on April 18. Each state was divided by country and assigned a winner.
