Can This Offseason Get Any Worse for the Eagles?

(NJ.com) – What had hope and promise and a chance to be really something special has turned into a near disaster.

From the time the Eagles won their 10th game of the season until now, nothing has gone their way.

OK, well they did sign free agent cornerback Byron Maxwell, but it cost them $63 million. And who were they outbidding?

They wanted safety Devin McCourty, he stayed in New England.

They wanted running back Frank Gore, he went to Indianapolis.

They were said to have interest in quarterback Jake Locker and linebacker Jason Worilds. They both retired.
