Twitter Photos Getting More Social on Android and iOS

Twitter has pushed a significant update to its official apps on Android and iOS today aimed at making the service more social when it comes to pictures. The updated apps include tools to more easily tag friends in photos and the option to add multiple photos to a post without blowing your character limit.
Things are a little different with regard to the Android and iOS versions. Both platforms are getting the update with support for photo tagging. Basically, you can now select a photo to share and add the names of people who are in it. The tagged users show up next to the photo and it’s just like they were @ mentioned, though you don’t have to use up characters to do it.
