(CNET.com) — For the third year in a row, AT&T has nabbed exclusive rights to a rough-and-tumble version of the Samsung Galaxy S line, announcing the Galaxy S6 Active.

Set to arrive on June 12, the Galaxy S6 variant offers nearly identical specifications: Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, a 5.1-inch Quad HD display, a 16-megapixel rear camera and 32GB of internal storage.

One area that’s sure to please users is the battery, which has been enlarged to 3,500mAh, and which still supports wireless charging just like the Galaxy S6.

The real benefit of the Galaxy S6 Active, however, comes in its IP68 rating, which protects against water and dust. Not only can you submerge the device in water for up to 30 minutes, it’s also equipped to withstand drops from up to four feet.
