A new app for iPhone named Cloak will make it possible for users to track the location of family and friends, not necessarily to find them, but to avoid them.

Yahoo reviewed the new app, saying, Cloak makes it possible to gather the geographic data provided by friends through their Foursquare and Instagram accounts, making it easier to know if any person is close to where you own personal location.

Photos of people near you are displayed on a map relative to your location.

One of the most unique features of Cloak is that it makes it possible for the user, aka yourself, to flag other users who you think are undesirable or those who really just want to avoid.

Chris Baker, the designer of the app, is also the one responsible for creating a filtering system that replaces his friend’s baby photos with images of cats.
