LeBron James’ Relationship with Cleveland Cavaliers Coach David Blatt a Work in Progress

CLEVELAND, Ohio (Cleveland Plain Dealer) – At first glance, it would seem as though LeBron James and Cleveland Cavaliers coach David Blatt are not on the same page.

Following the Cavaliers’ 106-97 home loss to the Denver Nuggets – Cleveland’s fourth loss in nine games and second loss at home to an inferior opponent — a disgusted Blatt said “we just didn’t come with the proper mindset and with the energy level that we had the other night and have had the last several games.”

When Blatt’s words were paraphrased to James in the locker room, he disagreed.

“I didn’t feel it,” James said, refuting that the Cavaliers lacked energy. “It’s easy to say that after the fact.”
