Instagram Launches a New Explore Tab Which Features Trending Tags, Places Search
(Financial Express) – Instagram has launched a new revamped Explore tab which features Trending Tags, Trending Places, curated content and also a new Places Search.
Instagram has 300 million users and 70 million photos are uploaded per day.
According to Techcrunch.com, the Instagram’s Trending section atop Explore offers a collection of real-time trending topics based on hashtags, or places users have checked into. Users would either tag the event or check-in on Instagram and then Instagram populates the trending content at the top of the page.
The Instagram team will refresh the collections at the top of the Explore page on a regular basis for now.
