Beyonce Set to Perform at 2014 MTV Video Music Awards

Beyonce’ has been added to the lineup of the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, according to New York Daily News.

The award ceremony will be broadcast live on August 24 at 9pm EST at the Forum in Inglewood, CA.

She now leads a list of performers that include Usher, Maroon 5, Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande.

Beyonce’ also will accept the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, which MTV’s equivalent of the Lifetime Achievement Award. She leads the VMAs in nominations with eight, including “Drunk in Love,” which is up for Video of the Year.

The other categories she is nominated in include Best Female, Best Collaboration, Best Video With a Social Message, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Choreography and Best Direction.
