(USA Today) – The hunt for a caffeine fix from Starbucks is about to get a little less arduous.

The Seattle-based coffee chain announced that starting Tuesday customers at more than 4,000 locations can order and pay for their beverages ahead of time through its new mobile ordering app.

For now, only iPhone users can take advantage of the app, but Starbucks says it plans to unveil an app for Android later this year.

Customers that go the mobile route will skip the often long register lines and go directly to the barista counter to pick up their lattes and flat whites.
